WRC Rally Sweden: Day One set for hot action

Today sees the WRC’s Round Two, the Rally Sweden, kick off in earnest with rallying proper. Last night, competitors took to SS1, a 1.9km Super Special Stage. Setting the initial pace was Dani Sordo (MINI John Cooper Works WRC).

However, running order will play a vital part in today’s action. The final session of the Shakedown Stage was used as qualifying to determine road positions, with the fastest drivers able to select their start positions.
