BRC makes Trax

The MSA British Rally Championship (BRC) is on tour this weekend as cars and drivers from the 2012 series attend the popular Trax Performance Car Show at Silverstone.

The event, which takes place on Sunday 2nd September at the home of the British Grand Prix, will host a selection of BRC cars including M-Sport’s Fiesta R1, Monster Sport Europe’s Twingo R1, James Grint’s Citroën DS3 and from the NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge, Tony Simpson’s Fiesta ST.

Rally models from all three Official Manufacturers, Citroën, Ford and Renault are on display. Renault UK are also providing additional support to the event, displaying their works 1996 BRC campaigning Mégane Maxi rally car alongside the 1995 BTCC Laguna racing car, funky new electric Twizy, Mégane 260 Cup and Clio Renaultsport road cars.

Championship staff will be on hand to welcome members of the general public on to the stand. Joining them will be the International Rally Drivers Club as well as BRC partners Competition Car Insurance, Ravenol Oils and Mantis.

Hundreds of club enthusiasts will have their cars on display, while amongst the action on track will be the fifth round of the British Drift Championship as well as track time dedicated for individuals to run their cars on the circuit.

The fast road car and motorsport expo attracts thousands of fans from around the country. 16,000 attendees enjoying last year’s event.
