Loeb masters Monte in weather mayhem

The 2013 World Rally Championship season got off to the very best possible start, with hundreds of thousands of fans stage-side cheering on their favourites in an all-out fight to the finish line on Saturday evening.

Sebastien Loeb/Daniel Elena (Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team) outpaced his rivals to claim his SEVENTH Rallye Monte Carlo victory, but it was the debutants of Sebatien Ogier/Julien Ingrassia in their brand-new Volkswagen Motorsport Polo R WRC that showed its pace and that it will be a contender for rally victories in 2013.

Our FULL review and report will be available tomorrow as part of our Monte special issue of Handbrakes & Hairpins – available for FREE download.
