In Class N3, Megan Verlaque and brother Oliver Verlaque, driving their Toyota RunX N3 in this weekend’s Rally of South Africa have dominated their rivals to finish the 87km of competition on Day One of Round Four of the South African Rally Championship by over six minutes.
With ten stages lying in wait for competitors tomorrow, Megan Verlaque is excited about tackling the fast gravel roads of Ermelo. In her pink-liveried car, she will be one to watch out for tomorrow!
After an arduous 56,38km-long stage to complete the first day of the Rally of South Africa, it is Mark Cronje/Robert Paisley (Castrol Team Toyota Auris S2000) that leads the event from his team-mates Johnny Gemmell/Drew Sturrock.
Leeroy Poulter and Henry Dearlove have a clear objective in mind for the 4th round of the Sasol South African Rally Championship, the Rally of South Africa, which takes place in the Ermelo region of Mpumalanga; to take maximum points and the lead of the first 1600cc Championship and reward their new sponsors Imperial Toyota for their investment and belief in the team.
